HTC Sued Apple Yesterday in Delaware Court.

HTC is Asia’s 2nd Largest Smartphone producers which is using nine patents bought from Google last week. Google has taken over the ownership against the patents from less than a year. According to U.S Patents and Trademark Office Record, there are four patents that belong to Motorola Inc., two from Palm Inc. and the remaining from Openwave Systems Inc.

Yesterday HTC sued Apple and filed a case against Apple in Delaware Court at U.S International Trade Commission. Apple is already suing HTC, Samsung Electronics as well as other smartphone makers for using the Android OS.

Grace Lei, General Counsel Of HTC says that they will keep on protecting their patented inventions against infringement from Apple unless such infringement stops. He also said that he thinks its their first priority to protect and take care of their business, their industry partners and also their customers and buyers who love to use HTC’s products.
